ABSTRACT

Objectives: This study aims to determine level of knowledge among high school students in Jakarta regarding denture treatment. Methods: This is a descriptive observational study with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire consisting of 11 questions that covered knowledge about function of teeth, impact of untreated tooth loss, and matters related to dentures. Results: Data collected from 88 students and showed that 56.8% respondents had a good level of knowledge, and 5.7% had poor level of knowledge. Conclusion: The majority of high school students have a good level of knowledge about dentures.
