ABSTRACT
Objectives: To obtain some scientific data related to the efficacy of Enzyme CoQ10 as adjunctive therapy for periodontitis treatment in individuals with Diabetes Mellitus. Methods: Two databases (Pubmed and Google Scholar) were used in to gather research infromation up to June 2024. Results: All the Randomized-Clinical Trial (RCT) and Non-Randomized Clinical Trial studies were filtered to find the efficacy of enzyme CoQ10 as adjunctive therapy for periodontitis in individuals with diabetes mellitus. Conclusion: Enzyme CoQ10 can be used as adjunctive therapy for periodontitis in individuals with Diabetes Mellitus and has the possibility to be a sole adjunctive therapy agent.
