ABSTRACT
During wartime, in countries involved in the conflict, military technologies and related operational concepts are developed much more rapidly than during peacetime or in countries not involved in the war. This phenomenon is evident in the ongoing war in Ukraine. It is important to understand this phenomenon, changes on the battlefield, and consider what non-belligerent countries should do to avoid becoming victims. Although these aspects are universal, this chapter focuses specifically on ground-based air defense.
