ABSTRACT

In contemporary years, the intersection of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development is gaining increasing global attention. The growing urgency to manage environmental, social, and corporate governance aspects alongside the widespread embrace of the UN SDGs, has underscored the pivotal function that CSR practices assist in advancing long-term sustainability. This motivated us to undertake a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to map the research landscape of CSR and sustainable development. Using employing bibliometric tools, we assessed 232 peer-reviewed publications from 2015 and 2025 extracted from Scopus. The data were processed and visualized using VOSviewer, which facilitated the construction of co-authorship, keyword and citation networks. This methodological approach enabled us to determine the leading authors, countries and journals contributing to the discourse as well as to uncover thematic clusters and knowledge gaps. We present a broad analysis of dominant research trends and notable scholars. This study offers practical insights for academics aiming to align their research with high-impact themes, corporate leaders developing CSR strategies aligned with the SDGs and policymakers promoting responsible and sustainable business practices.
