ABSTRACT

Introduction: In the context of India, social issues are never ending. This research paper focuses the women's difficulties. It focuses on the awareness and effectiveness of women empowerment schemes.

Purpose: The study aims to understand women awareness about various empowerment initiatives. The paper examines their beliefs about the potential impact of these programs.

Methodology: Present research is a descriptive study. The sample frame is women from both rural and urban areas of the Lucknow district in Uttar Pradesh, India. Sample size is 500. The study addresses two major aspects. Firstly, reach of the women empowerment schemes implemented by the government. Second, paper seeks the effectiveness of these schemes in fostering women's empowerment.

Findings: The findings show that women are well aware of the government's women's empowerment scheme. Moreover, they strongly believe that these schemes can positively affect their empowerment. The research highlights the importance of these programs in shaping women's lives. Paper also suggests effectiveness of awareness campaigns.

Originality/Value: The research suggests the potential of these schemes to bring about social and economic changes. This paper describes the broader impact of women's empowerment initiatives in India.
