ABSTRACT

In order to make working life sustainable for all ages, the organisation should implement continuous development and review whether the nine determinant areas in the four spheres for action in the SwAgeTM model are optimal for individuals’ willingness and ability to work. Needs for different measures will probably arise at some point when conducting workplace analyses. Some type of evaluation can be useful in order to find out whether these measures have had an impact, and whether the impact has been expected or desired. It is important to consider and discuss the type of evaluation to be used prior to implementing the measure. Different types of evaluations require different types of collected data and material, which can be difficult to reconstruct after the measure has been implemented. There are several different types of evaluations. In this chapter, you will find an introduction to process evaluations, impact evaluations and economic evaluations.
