ABSTRACT

Think of your most awesome or your most awful moment in practice, when you felt most alive, most in awe, most attuned to everything around you. It may have been a moment of joy: perhaps the time you delivered your first baby, or saw your first patient, or made your first incision, or when you received your first, heartfelt ‘thank you’ from a patient. It may have been a moment of pain: your first death, your first big mistake, your first angry patient.
