ABSTRACT
A nice application of Dirac delta-function models is the problem of reverberation and echo cancellation, as discussed in [116]. The received signal is viewed as a filtered version of the original and we want to remove the effects of the filter, thereby removing the echo. This leads to the problem of finding the inverse filter. A version of the echo cancellation problem arises in telecommunications, as discussed in [147] and [148].
