ABSTRACT
Field Theory is the basic language of particle physics (i.e., of point particles). It combines quantum mechanics, relativistic kinematics, and the notion of particle creation and annihilation. The basic framework is remarkably successful and well-tested. In this book we will work mainly with perturbative field theory, characterized by weak coupling.
