ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on an alternative longer-term strategy for combating truancy and school absenteeism. It is called the SSTG scheme. Theoretically, the three parts to this panel-based scheme can be used independently or treated collectively to form one total integrated scheme. The colour-coded system discussed in the previous chapter can also be adapted into the scheme (see Figure 8.3).
