ABSTRACT
Managing and understanding information is where computers offer real benefits to the way that we work. This is the I in ICT. Not only can information be presented in different forms as we looked at in the last chapter, it can also be related in different ways. The commonest programs in this area are databases, spreadsheets and graphing (or charting) software, though the Internet uses and manages data and information in increasingly sophisticated ways.
