ABSTRACT
The TTA’s Handbook of Guidance (2003) is quite clear about the benefits of reflective practice:
To teach effectively, teachers need to have the capacity and commitment to analyse and reflect on their own practice, and to improve it throughout their careers through professional development and engagement with new knowledge and ideas.
