ABSTRACT
The roots of management, as we have seen, reach down to the primal huntergatherer communities. Management of this basic kind is still to be found in trading communities in developing societies, as well as on market stalls and in households throughout the world. It also characterizes the newly emerging business enterprise, whether one created by an animateur such as Ricardo Semler or by an entrepreneur such as Bill Gates.
