ABSTRACT

Primal managers, in their passion for excellence, build a business that competes successfully without, while establishing a cohesive community within. Rational management, in promoting a ‘requisite’ organization, effectively builds up the competence of the corporation, while adaptively managing change. Developmental managers, in the process of managing complexity, facilitate organizational learning while stimulating corporate renewal. Finally, metaphysical management, by virtue of organizational knowledge creation, continually turns a knowledgebased vision into physical action, and so enables individuals and organizations to live out their particular and unique stories.
