ABSTRACT

Over the course of the last ten years, at City University Business School in London, we have developed a ‘masters’ programme that is oriented towards managerial and organizational learning, as well as knowledge creation. While being structurally underpinned by management domains set in the context of business realms, processwise it is also a project-based programme, run in partnership with major public and private corporations. Whereas the management domains encompass the primal, rational, developmental and metaphysical, the business realms span the economic and technological, the social and cultural. Moreover, each domain and realm is divided up into ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ orientations.
