ABSTRACT

This chapter first summarizes the findings of this book. In response to the question how people should respond to immoral yet admirable people, it has outlined a number of factors that affect what decision people should make. It is noted that a precise formula for working out the best response has not been given, as the book has aimed to provide a guide to thinking about the ethical puzzle of how we should treat immoral yet admirable people. This chapter summarizes the findings of the book through a series of questions that people should ask themselves when confronted with an apparent instance of the puzzle. This chapter ends by considering wider societal and cultural challenges to improving our honour and admiration practices.
