ABSTRACT
The conclusion sums up the major tenets of women’s economic thought as examined in the book. It argues that women economists of the Romantic Age engage with what Joanna Rostek calls a patriarchal economy. Rostek explains the principles of the patriarchal economy, women economists’ proposed solutions to the problems they identify in their writings, and their discursive strategies. The conclusion finishes with nine theoretical and methodological implications for the further study of women’s economic thought.
