ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a comprehensive survey of funding, financing, taxing and value capture models and programs that might be available to local and state actors for the purposes of advancing climate adaptation investments. In particular, this chapter provides an examination of a variety of California-specific programs and funding sources, as well as references to experiments and innovations that are happening through the U.S. In addition, this chapter identifies a variety of federal programs that provide funding for projects and programs that may offer adaptation co-benefits.
