ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the materials and methods used in the analysis. It explains how the material was collected and discusses the methodological choices conducted during the research process. The chapter examines the implications of a translocal approach in the study of postethnic activism and its difference from a nationally oriented comparative analysis. Furthermore, the chapter discusses the politics of connectivity and the implications of researcher positionalities on the collection of material and analysis. It concludes with a discussion of the challenges of disrupting racial categorisations while studying (anti)racism and the implications of research ethics for the study.
