ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses possible applications of the conceptual framework presented in the preceding chapter. The chapter first investigates how production, work and consumption can be quantified and valued, followed by a discussion on growth models and exploitation, which is related to the concept of social causation in the previous chapter. The final section applies the framework to an analysis of stages in the development of intelligent life and on non-human life.
