ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the way in which a bromance creates a shared persona and the impact it can have on those involved. Furthermore, it explores the role of celebrities in forming a bromance through their performance, the role the media plays in constructing the bromance narrative through their reporting and sensationalised language and the role of fans in creating bromances through their creative outlets and online commentary. The chapter ends by reinforcing the cultural significance of bromances.
