Narratives and the common good

This chapter establishes the relationship between narratives, moral framework, and the common good in society. It argues that stories help bridge the gap between the abstract nature of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the concreteness of the ordinary virtues, which are the operative principles in people interpersonal relationships.
