ABSTRACT

This chapter analyzes the learning acquired from the feedback I received from my two independent readers and the quantitative and qualitative data I received from my 30 respondents. Together, they make up my initial fellow travelers. This feedback determines how I practice my three core values of integrity, professionalism, and spirituality, showing me ways to practice them. In Appendix 1, I provide selected journal entries as samples showing self-reflection and as an illustrative template for interested readers who wish to keep a journal (e.g., gratitude journal). That journal is something that they can tailor to suit their individual needs in focusing on core values or specific themes useful for their personal development. I provide in Appendix 2 selections from the data collection table reporting interviews with the respondents. I present this data collection table as an illustrative template for interested readers who wish to know how data can be collected in a systematic way for their own use. When I interact with and obtain feedback from my initial fellow travelers, I get to know myself better and gain more insight into myself and my personal growth and integration with others. I then realize that I am a part of the universe, and I coexist and relate to others. I also learn by exercising more self-awareness and mindfulness and benefit from viewing my childhood records, kept for more than 50 years. I list findings from the lessons I learned. From these, I observe discernible changes in my perspectives on life.
