ABSTRACT
This chapter reflects on the influences that Gerald Grace has had on Jewish education. It is rooted in the author’s experience of being inspired and encouraged by Grace to contribute to international scholarship of Jewish education. The chapter narrates how the author mirrored the 2007 Grace and O’Keefe International Handbook of Catholic Education in relation to Jewish education. The broad affinities between Jewish and Catholic education are drawn out in the second part of the chapter.
