ABSTRACT

In the teacher educator program, units should support pre-service teachers (PSTs) and encourage them to develop a mindset that is positive, agile, open and views the world with empathy. This chapter provides two case studies that outline the design, implementation and assessment of two units in the undergraduate bachelor of education. These units focus on sustainability through the pedagogical approach of inquiry and problem-based learning (PBL). The chapter uses the lens of sustainability mindset and explores how this mindset is developed across these units through their design and implementation.
