ABSTRACT
Global climate change is an emergency we face today, and our survival is at risk. We must strive to steer our society toward a sustainable path by transforming our economy and society into a decarbonized and resilient one. We must mitigate climate change by substantially reducing greenhouse gas emissions while adapting to climate change by preparing for extreme weather conditions. We are now at a crossroads between a sustainable future or falling into an abyss of climate disasters. We must galvanize all individuals, communities, cities, companies, and governments to mitigate climate change, for which we have the required tools. Therefore, we must use them and choose the right path for our future.
