I prefaced this book by noting two realizations that prompted my philosophical investigation into genocide denialism and its epistemic harms:
The common view that genocide denial violates the dignity of victims and constitutes an assault on truth and memory.
The frequent downplaying of the pernicious implications of at least some cases of genocide denial.
