ABSTRACT

In Chapter 19 we showed that CSR of small companies lack behind that of large companies. This raises the question: What can policy makers and managers do to activate CSR of SMEs?. In this chapter, we suggest a number of policy and management opportunities. First, we discuss policy and management implications of the analysis of CSR impacts. Next, we elaborate on the lessons we can learn from the analysis of internal drivers of CSR. Finally, we close this chapter by considering policies that can be derived from the analysis of competition and external institutional drivers of CSR.
