ABSTRACT

In this short chapter, an evaluative step with regard to the relevance of a practical theological research project is the main topic. This fourth step in the design process (What is it contributing to? Showing theoretical and practical relevance) helps to align the research question(s) with the original reasoning for the research project. This chapter explores this explicit moment of reflection on the relevance of the problem-based research question. Two forms of relevance are discussed: the theoretical relevance of a practical theological research project and the practical relevance.
