ABSTRACT
In recent years, the word creativity has appeared in the titles of several books published in the field of language teaching. Several books (mainly edited books or multi-authored books) have appeared, using the word ‘creativity’ or ‘creative’ with reference to language teaching in their titles. This chapter examines the discourse used to talk about creativity in language teaching, mainly focusing on the discourse of creativity used in books published between 2010 and 2018 in the field of language teaching. With reference to those books and their chapters, this chapter discusses: Who have been writing about creativity in language teaching in recent years? What have they been writing about creativity? How has creativity been written about in their publications?
