ABSTRACT

This chapter argues that organisations engaged in MM can successfully utilise the advantages of situation ethics, such as its flexibility and contextual awareness, to mitigate its hazards. However, a meticulous reassessment or alteration of the normative assumptions underlying situation ethics is necessary to substantiate this method. These premises play a pivotal role in the structure of situation ethics, necessitating modification or augmentation to preserve the framework's merits while addressing its limitations. This chapter will highlight the enhancements proposed by the supporters of situation ethics, which have not been fully integrated into the theory along with some research perspectives that situation ethics requires to implement MM's tactics.
