ABSTRACT
The multilateral initiatives of the DSSI and the Common Framework are detailed in this chapter, along with the concept of the credit rating impasse, as described by the author. In addition, some of the underlying (legal) dynamics that affect the relationship between a creditor and a debtor are discussed, including the ‘collective action clause’ and what it entails.
