ABSTRACT
Former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull was described as ‘obsessed about renewable energy reducing electricity prices’, 1 and his chosen policy instrument is the National Energy Guarantee (NEG) under discussion and negotiation with the states. 2 The electricity industry, as a whole, is in the throes of a major transition and transformation away from fossil fuels and it’s the subject of great impact and disruption by innovative renewable energy technologies.
