ABSTRACT
This chapter concludes this monograph by highlighting its main findings and briefly exploring their consequences. After summarising the main verb types documented in Spanish and how they are derived, this chapter considers the consequences of the proposal for how verbal affixes are differentiated, how the combination of base and verbaliser can be predicted, the nature of lexical verbs vs. auxiliaries, and what makes a language use parasynthesis as a way to form complex predicates.
