ABSTRACT

In this chapter, it is outlined that this book has established that children have environmental rights, and that the climate advocacy of children and youth is progressing human rights for all. The right to a healthy environment has developed rapidly over the decades, and children are increasingly prominent when it comes to its development. Child/youth climate action, however, involves challenges and barriers, including tokenistic involvement. In conclusion, children and youth have an uncertain future, but their climate action brings tangible change for children and for everyone.
