ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to present our original risk management maturity assessment model, adapted to the specifics of crisis situations. Firstly, we present the procedure for developing a catalogue of eight attributes of our model, especially taking into account the risk management requirements applicable to crisis situations. For each of the eight attributes, we justify in detail the rationale for its inclusion in the model. Next we outline the process by which we developed the value scales for each attribute, emphasizing the importance of the rigour of the morphological analysis used in the process. The result of this activity was the development of the Morphological Matrix. In the last part of the chapter, we describe the process of developing an aggregate risk management maturity assessment scale taking into account the sum of points that the examined enterprises could receive as a result of the assessment of each attribute. Based on the developed assessment scale, we distinguished five levels of risk management maturity.
