ABSTRACT

“Woefully off track”. This is the result of the SDG Report in 2021 in view of achieving the climate goals called for in the Paris Agreement. Not mere cosmetic adjustments are needed, but a radical re-thinking of economies, industry, consumption, and individual lifestyles. This chapter discusses the contributions of faith actors to climate action in terms of integral ecological education, eco-spirituality, and climate justice. John C. Rodwan from the indigenous people residing in the Southern Great Lakes region (USA) provides a spotlight into the traditional ecological knowledge and tribal spirituality of his people.
