ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a final reflection on key themes explored by contributors throughout the book. It also serves two other inter-related purposes. First, it outlines a pathway for further institutional and policy reform for health security intelligence. And secondly, building on Vogel’s excellent chapter, it scopes out further a broad research agenda to encourage greater collaboration amongst researchers interested in health security intelligence. A core function of this chapter is to provide a catalyst for greater policy action and research intensity in health security intelligence in the current post-COVID-19 period where there are still opportunities to learn the lessons learnt from the challenges identified in earlier chapters.
