ABSTRACT
This chapter examines the role of disinformation, including cyber-enabled disinformation, during the COVD-19 pandemic and its long-term implications. While the US forms the primary case study of this analysis, both as an early hotspot of the virus, and the home of the technology platforms through which disinformation spread, the effects were felt around the world and the ramifications are global in reach.
