ABSTRACT
The digitalisation of courts is reshaping justice in a multitude of ways, changing how we participate in, attend, engage with, and consume trials. In this chapter I present an overview of the scope of this book and introduce the theoretical framework and the key concepts drawn on, including interaction orders, surveillance, newsworthiness, and virtual justice rituals. The chapter ends with an overview of the book.
