ABSTRACT
The implementation and adoption of digital technologies in courts has several undeniable advantages. However, digitalising various components and aspects of courts and trials also brings challenges and unexpected consequences. This final chapter summarises the key points made in this book and reflects on how the perception, accomplishment, and experience of justice is shaped by digitalisation. I discuss these implications in the Swedish context and outline future areas of research in need of attention before closing with a call for particular focus on appropriate open justice.
