ABSTRACT
The introduction provides the outline of the book. The main focus of the book is on the first year of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The book aims to explore how the two fighting sides developed their fighting powers, how they structured their military organisations, and which technologies were used across different domains. The central theme of resilience is also emphasised in the introduction. Outlining the primary research tools is then followed by a detailed explanation of the book’s structure, with the main highlights of each chapter.
