ABSTRACT
This chapter is devoted to the resilience of the Ukrainian people. It illustrates the importance of the national strong rear to support the normal functioning of society and warfighting across various segments. In this regard, the resilience of various groups of Ukrainian society is discussed together with various sources of innovation and the crowdfunding initiatives of Ukrainian civil society and individuals. The primary examples shown in the chapter include the Ukrainian farmers harvesting crops under the constant threat of Russian bombing, the work of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises, the Ukrainian population’s resilience during the blackouts and various Ukrainian crowdfunding initiatives in support of the UAF. Different volunteering initiatives, from the development of tactical drones to the support of paramedics, are discussed here. The factors enabling the resilience of the Ukrainian people are also outlined in the chapter.
