ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the authors conclude the book by looking both back and forward. They consider the key themes and findings that have emerged from the analyses across the book, casting a critical eye over these. Then, they ask whether the language used by men needs to change and, if so, in what ways that might be achieved. Related to this, they also ask, is it enough just to change language? The book concludes by addressing some of the areas for future research that would be fruitful in terms of providing further insights regarding the ways that language is used by men and boys, and what implications such language use might have for society.
