ABSTRACT
This chapter provides a conceptual overview of the value of sharing projects and engaging with a community. It provides ideas for several formats and structures for sharing within a school or within broader communities. It provides guidance on supporting student development of presentations of various types. It then offers specific strategies for holding meaningful and inclusive community events that link students to the places they studied and the people who care about these places and that offer venues for bidirectional learning among students and community members.
