ABSTRACT

The introduction presents briefly the notion of interculturality, its history as well as current global dominating scientific discussions around it. The importance and need for the book are justified and the author describes who it is aimed at, what it is about and its originality. The introduction also serves as a way of problematising the keywords of paradoxes and epistemological questions and details how the proposed ‘box of out-of-the-box ideas’ for intercultural communication education functions. Finally, the writing genre of the fragment is briefly introduced in relation to the goals of the book. The different book sections and chapters are introduced.
