ABSTRACT

This chapter explores two pilot projects in which approaches from the citizen science (CS) movement are brought into conversation with the aims of Responsible Research and Innovation. Two very different technoscientific issues are addressed here: Endometriosis and waste collection practices. However, outside their immediate local context, the pilots serve another important purpose, namely as good examples of the use of CS within a well-established context of innovation for societal transformation, with deep roots in the Catalan society.
