ABSTRACT
Using research well involves you selecting research that is appropriate to your intended use, context and specific improvement need. Selecting appropriate research is important to ensure that the research you access is trustworthy and relevant, and to build confidence that the research will productively guide your practice. This chapter will help you to: (i) determine what appropriate research means in your context; and (ii) carry out searches that are wide-ranging and strategic.
