ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we sum up the insights from our critical analysis of global forest visualization platforms as well as our case study of Global Forest Watch. We draw these analyses together into some general conclusions. Then, we’ll finish the book by offering practical recommendations for both designers/producers and users of these platforms who wish to articulate global and local views of forests without sacrificing one view to the other.
