ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on the scope of State ocean jurisdiction. It describes the extent of State ocean jurisdiction on each of the grounds distinguished in chapter 3. It also examines the relationships between the jurisdiction of a State on each of the grounds and the jurisdiction of other States both on the same ground and on the other grounds.
